Alright, we're sorry, but every place needs some rules, even here. It's simple as this: Follow the rules. You will receive one warning from me or a mod only. Exceptions are if you break the "stay on topic" rule, I won't kick you out for that. If it's a minor rule, just try not to break it, k?
1. Be respectful to all members. If you join a proboards, chances are you will want to interact with other people. Not everyone is exactly like you, and you have to respect their opinions, ideas, and suggestions, no matter how stupid they seem. People have different interests. So if you really hate something, just lie a little and politely say you don't care for it much.
2. Try to stay on topic. I know we all have teeny random problems sometimes, but resist it and post that in the Random thread.
3. Try to keep the cussing to a happy medium. You can cuss every once in awhile, just not ever other word in your flipping sentence.
4. Do what the moderators say. I made them mods because they like it((or at least I hope they do)), and I don't want to see them running madly away and tearing their hair out because of you.
5. Please feel free to PM me or one of the mods if you have any problems with another member. We want this site to be the safest environment possible, and we'd like everyone to be happy here.
6. Please don't PM us with Suggestions or Questions. There are seperate boards for those threads. I might have a million people asking me the same question seperately, when it's just better to have the answer out there for everyone to see.
7. If you have a site of your own, please sign up to become an affiliate! We know what it's like building a site, and it's not the easiest of things. Everyone who signs up will become an affiliate if their site has appropriate content.
8. Please refrain from using excessive "chat words." (brb, lol, imo,) It's not uncommon for us to use maybe one in every post, but don't make your entire post in code language. It makes us dizzy.
9. If someone made your avatar or signature, give them credit for it, for crying out loud! They probably worked hard.
10. Don't use one word answers. That's spam, folks. And it can be rather annoying. . .if you're going to say something, make it halfway intelligible. Even *two words* are ok! But one? Come on.
Keep checking for more rules, as we are still modifying them.
